- 01How do progressive fees work?
- Your fee rate decreases as your total lifetime earnings on NexusDeploy grow. You start at 8% and can reach as low as 1.5%. Tiers are cumulative across every project and every client — every dollar you earn on the platform counts toward your next tier, regardless of which client it came from. Loyalty to the platform and growing volume both compound.
- 02What does the 10% enterprise fee cover?
- The flat 10% covers milestone escrow management, automated NDA generation, AES-256 encrypted file delivery, engineer vetting and tier verification, full audit trails, and dispute arbitration. There are no hidden markups or additional charges.
- 03Are there monthly fees or subscriptions?
- No. NexusDeploy charges fees only when work is completed and payments are processed. There are no monthly subscriptions, listing fees, or upfront costs for either engineers or enterprises.
- 04How does escrow work?
- Enterprises fund milestones upfront via Stripe. Funds are held in escrow and released to the engineer only when the enterprise approves the deliverable. If there is a dispute, NexusDeploy arbitrates. Neither party is ever exposed to payment risk.
- 05Can rates change?
- All rates and fee structures are subject to change before public launch. We are currently in pre-launch and enrolling engineers and enterprises for early access. Early adopters will be notified of any changes before they take effect.
- 06How do I reach the 1.5% tier?
- The 1.5% tier (Tier 4) activates when your total lifetime earnings on NexusDeploy exceed $250,000. Earnings across every client and every project count toward this threshold. Once you hit Tier 4, you keep 98.5% of every dollar on every subsequent project. An engineer billing $150K/year across any mix of clients saves $10K–$28K compared to Upwork or Fiverr.
